Founded by school therapists with a passion for working with students, Ampersand Therapy staff has first-hand experience in schools, giving us the ability to train, mentor, and troubleshoot with our clinicians. Our therapy roots give us a unique perspective to better understand district and specialist needs.

Flexibility in Contracts

We are open to signing existing district contracts or able to provide our own. We’re also able to modify our contract to meet individual district needs.

Zero Non-Compete

Our employees are welcome to transition into District Employee roles if they choose, with no fees or time restrictions.

Due Diligence

To reduce your workload for onboarding new employees, we complete all the Industry Standard requirements for you, including:

  • Collecting and verifying state licenses

  • Criminal background checks for all states employee has lived in

  • Arranging pre-employment drug screening and fingerprinting

  • National Registry checks including NSOPW, OFAC, OIG, and SAM Exclusion

  • Professional reference checks

  • Professional and general liability insurance in excess of most district requirements

  • Workers compensation & FMLA coverage

  • Able to complete additional requirements as needed by each district
